LaceDarius Dunn collected 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists as Baylor used a big second half to take down Colorado, 70-66, in Waco, Tex., on Saturday.

Perry Jones added 14 points and Quincy Acy chipped in 13 off the bench for the Bears (14-6, 4-3 Big 12), who had lost three of four.

Cory Higgins had 12 points in the first half as Colorado shot out to a 35-21 lead at the break. Higgins hit a pair of jumpers in the early going as the Buffaloes opened the game on a 12-2 spurt. He then drained a pair of 3-pointers during a 10-2 spurt that stretched the lead to 27-15.

Baylor cut the deficit in half three minutes into the second period and continued to chip away, finally pulling even at 54-54 when Dunn hit a pair of free throws at the 4:49 mark. Colorado regained the lead on Alec Burks’ jumper and a free throw by Andre Roberson, but Acy hit two free throws and Dunn’s jumper with 2:58 left gave the Bears their first lead, 58-57.

Acy would push it two 64-59 when he split a pair of free throws with 58 seconds left and Baylor was able to hang on.

Burks finished with 20 for the Buffaloes (14-8, 3-4 Big 12).
