Chandler Parsons keyed a decisive burst as No. 23 Florida scored the first nine points of double overtime en route to a 104-91 Southeastern Conference win at Georgia on Tuesday night.

The Gators saw an eight-point lead disappear in the final three minutes of regulation, but Erving Walker kept them alive with a long 3-pointer with one second left in the first overtime to tie it at 85-85 and force the second extra session.

SEC East leader Florida (16-4, 5-1) opened double overtime with baskets on its first four possessions and forced three straight turnovers by Georgia (14-5, 3-3). Parsons’ 3-pointer and driving layup on consecutive possessions gave the Gators a 94-85 advantage with 2:29 left.

Walker’s jumper with 3:09 left in regulation gave the Gators a 72-64 lead. But Georgia scored nine of the final 10 points of regulation. Trey Thompkins tipped in Dustin Ware’s missed drive with 0.1 seconds left, tying the game at 73-73 and forcing overtime.

Jeremy Price hit two free throws with seven seconds to go to put Georgia ahead, 85-82, in the first overtime before Walker’s heroics forced the second overtime.

Walker and Kenny Boynton each scored 24 points for the Gators. Vernon Macklin finished with a career-high 23 points and nine rebounds and Parsons added 18 and 12 for Florida, which won for the eighth time in nine games.

Travis Leslie scored 21 points and Thompkins added 20 and 13 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
