The Tigers (7-7) enter their Southeastern Conference opener on a season-best four-game winning streak.

Chris Singleton gave the Seminoles (11-4) a 33-31 lead with 16:33 left, but the Tigers scored 14 of the next 17 points to build a 45-36 lead on Kenny Gabriel’s three-point play with 11:15 to go. The Seminoles crawled back into it, going on a 10-1 run to tie the game at 46-46 on Michael Snaer’s 3-pointer with 6:40 left.

Langford snapped the tie with 4:43 to go to make it 49-46. The Tigers got a 3-pointer from Frankie Sullivan with 3:30 left to make it 52-47. The Seminoles would pull within 57-53 on a Singleton 3-pointer, but the Tigers hit 5-of-6 free throws in the final 48 seconds.

Down in the opening minutes, Auburn took an 11-10 lead on Langford’s 3-pointer with 12:07 left in the first half. A 9-2 run later in the half pushed the Tigers’ advantage to 27-19 and Auburn led 27-22 at halftime.

Langford led the Tigers with 16 points, and finished 4-of-5 on 3-point attempts. Earnest Ross and Rob Chubb scored 10 points apiece.
