Markieff Morris scored 20 points and No. 3 Kansas remained unbeaten with an 83-56 thrashing of Miami (Ohio) on Sunday in a non-conference matchup.Morris was 9-of-11 from the field and was one of three Jayhawks in double figures. Marcus Morris and Josh Selby each scored 18 points for Kansas.

The Jayhawks (13-0) jumped out to a 47-21 lead at the half and never looked back.

Kansas shot the ball well and did its best to make life tough for Miami on the defensive end. The Jayhawks shot 52 percent (35-of-67) from the field and made 8-of-17 3-pointers and had a 31-14 advantage on the boards. The RedHawks (5-9) also made 8 3-pointers but took 34 shots from the arc and were 20-of-62 (32 percent) from the field overall.

Orlando Williams scored 11 points and Allen Roberts added 10 for the RedHawks, who have lost four straight and open Mid-American Conference play next Sunday at Ohio.
