Anthony Jones led with 16 points and five rebounds as Baylor topped San Diego 83-50 Wednesday in a quarterfinal game of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu.

Jones was one of five players in double figures for the Bears (8-1), who take on Washington State in a semifinal game at 6:30 p.m., Thursday. San Diego will play Mississippi State in a consolation game at 4:30 p.m.

The Bears shot 53.8 percent from the field, despite going 5 of 16 from the 3-point line. Baylor started strong and led 50-19 at halftime.

Quincy Acy had 14 points and four rebounds for Baylor. LaceDarius Dunn added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists. Perry Jones and Nolan Dennis scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Ken Rancifer’s 10 points and three rebounds led San Diego (2-9). The Toreros shot only 30.4 percent and were outrebounded 39-20.
