Georgia let High Point hang around for one half before getting its game in gear and cruising to a 85-38 victory Tuesday. The Bulldogs held High point to just 14 points in the second half.

Gerald Robinson led Georgia with 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting. Trey Thompkins chipped in with 15.

The Bulldogs (8-2) led 34-24 at halftime, but then exploded for 51 points in the second half. Their 85 points was the highest point total of the season and the 38 points allowed easily was their best defensive effort.

The Panthers (5-5) entered the game averaging 71 points a game. Georgia held High point without a field goal for a six-minute stretch midway through the second half and stretched its lead to 26 points 61-35.

Georgia plays at Mercer on Thursday.
