Ronnie Moss scored 20 points to lead Texas Christian to an 81-69 victory over Southern California on Monday..

Moss scored 14 of his points in the first half to help the Horned Frogs build a 38-31 lead.

TCU’s leading scorer entering the game at 15.7 points per game, Moss added three rebounds and three steals to lead the Horned Frogs (5-2) to their second win in a row and third in their last four games.

Nicola Gacesa and Hank Thorns both scored 12 points and Garion Green added 10 to go along with five rebounds.

USC (4-4) kept up it season pattern of following two wins with two losses but this time the losing skid might go a little longer. The Trojans face Texas on Sunday and face Kansas and Tennessee after a game with Northern Arizona.

Nikola Vucevic led the Trojans with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Alex Stephenson also had a double-double with 14 and 10.

The Trojans may have had a chance in this one if not for some putrid free throw shooting. For the game, USC was 11-of-23 (48 percent) from the line.
