JaMychal Green scored 17 points and Senario Hillman added 16 to lead Alabama to a 79-60 win over visiting Troy on Monday night.
The Crimson Tide (2-0) hit 51 percent of their shots (32-of-63) while holding Troy (1-1) to 38-percent shooting (23-of-60).
Green made 8-of-14 shots from the field while Hillman was also hot, making 6-of-12 shots. Trevor Releford added 13 points and Tony Mitchell scored 12.
Bernard Toombs led the Trojans with 12 points. Vernon Taylor scored 11and Shawntez Patterson scored 10.
The teams played on even terms early in the first half before Alabama pulled away to lead 47-32 at halftime and coasted to the win over its in-state rival.
