Thunder 107, Bulls 95: Kevin Durant had 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists as Oklahoma City cruised past visiting Chicago for its eighth consecutive victory.

Russell Westbrook had 20 points and 10 assists and Reggie Jackson scored 18 points off the bench for the Thunder, who have won 16 of their last 17 games. Thabo Sefolosha added 10 points for Oklahoma City, which is 13-0 at home to match the 1976-77 Seattle SuperSonics for the best such start in franchise history.

Joakim Noah scored a season-best 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bulls, who were without forward Luol Deng (Achilles) while losing for the 13th time in 16 games. Taj Gibson scored 16 points and D.J. Augustin added 15.

The Bulls trailed by 15 early in the fourth quarter and moved within 89-82 on a 3-pointer by Augustin with 8:49 remaining. The Thunder responded with seven straight points, concluding with Durant’s 3-pointer, and another 7-0 surge boosted the lead to 19 with 3:05 to play.

Oklahoma City shot 65.2 percent in the first quarter en route to a 35-24 lead but Chicago finished the second quarter strong to trail just 55-52 at the break. The Thunder led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter before taking an 84-72 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Durant has seven 30-point outings in December and leads the NBA with 13 such performances. … Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich (back) missed his fourth straight game and F Jimmy Butler left in the second quarter after tweaking his right ankle. … Oklahoma City was 9-of-15 from 3-point range with Durant going 4-for-5 as part of a 13-of-20 shooting performance.
