Thunder 105, Rockets 102: Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 29 points apiece as host Oklahoma City knocked off Houston to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference first-round series.

Serge Ibaka had 12 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots as the Thunder followed up their 29-point Game 1 victory. Game 3 is Saturday at Houston.

James Harden had 36 points and 11 rebounds and Chandler Parsons scored 17 points for the Rockets. Patrick Beverley added 16 points and 12 rebounds and Omer Asik grabbed 14 rebounds.

Houston trailed by 15 in the final stanza before erupting with a 21-2 surge to take a 95-91 lead on a 3-pointer by Carlos Delfino with 3:27 remaining. Durant and Thabo Sefolosha hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Thunder a four-point edge with 61 seconds left and Oklahoma City held on.

The Thunder led 57-55 at halftime and led by as many as 11 in the third quarter before taking a 78-72 lead into the fourth. Kevin Martin’s 3-pointer gave Oklahoma City an 89-74 lead with 9:23 remaining before the Rockets rallied.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Houston PG Jeremy Lin suffered a chest contusion and missed the second half. … Durant has scored 20 or more points in 28 consecutive playoff games, the longest streak since Michael Jordan ended his career with 47 such performances. … Houston had a 57-40 rebounding edge, including 18 on the offensive glass.
