Warriors 113, Suns 93: Stephen Curry returned to the lineup with 29 points and eight assists as Golden State exploded in the second half and easily dispatched visiting Phoenix.

Harrison Barnes matched a career high with 21 points and David Lee collected 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for the Warriors, who have won four straight and seven of nine. Curry went 11-of-20 from the field and hit six 3-pointers after missing the previous two games with an ankle sprain.

Michael Beasley scored 24 points off the bench and Jared Dudley had 16 as the Suns fell to 4-20 on the road.

Curry had 10 points in the first half but Golden State trailed 52-48 at the break. Phoenix scored the first six points of the third quarter to make it a 10-point edge before the Warriors took off on a 13-0 run to grab the lead.

The Suns would go on top again briefly before Curry got hot and buried back-to-back 3-pointers. Lee capped an 11-2 burst with a three-point play and Golden State took an 81-74 lead into the final frame.

Curry opened the fourth with a 3-pointer and handed out two assists in a 9-0 spurt to stretch the lead to double figures and the Warriors never looked back. Klay Thompson’s 3-pointer with 2:21 left pushed it to 110-89 before Golden State emptied the bench.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Suns slipped to 3-4 under interim coach Lindsey Hunter. … All five starters scored in double figures for the Warriors, including Andrew Bogut with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Bogut logged 25 minutes to match his high since returning to the lineup last week. … Lee’s double-double was his NBA-leading 31st.
