76ers 92, Wizards 84: Jrue Holiday collected 21 points and six assists and Nick Young scored 18 as Philadelphia held off visiting Washington.

Spencer Hawes added 12 points and 11 rebounds and Lavoy Allen chipped in 14 points and six boards off the bench for the 76ers, who have won two of their last three.

Emeka Okafor collected 15 points and 17 boards and Nene had 16 points and eight rebounds as the Wizards dropped back-to-back games for the first time since John Wall returned to the lineup. Wall was held to nine points on 3-of-12 shooting and committed five turnovers.

Washington ended the first quarter on an 18-8 run to take a 28-25 lead but fell flat in the second. The Wizards went 5:50 without a field goal and managed a total of three baskets while being outscored 23-11 in the period.

A quick burst out of the break brought Washington within two points but Young hit a pair of 3-pointers and Holiday scored four points during a 13-3 run that spread the lead back out. The Wizards drew back within 89-84 with 1:40 left, but Holiday split a pair of free throws and added a jumper to put the game away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington rookie G Bradley Beal (wrist) met with a hand specialist in New York on Wednesday morning. He is considered day-to-day. … Okafor is averaging 17.7 points and 16 rebounds in his last three games. … Philadelphia G Jason Richardson (knee) missed his fifth straight game. He is expected to have his knee examined on Thursday.
