Nets 94, Hawks 89: Deron Williams had a team-high 24 points as Brooklyn posted its seventh consecutive victory at the Barclays Center while salvaging the finale of its home-and-home set with Atlanta.

Brook Lopez scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half and Joe Johnson had 16 of his 18 after intermission. Reggie Evans reeled in 20 rebounds for the Nets, who snapped a six-game losing skid to Atlanta and improved to 10-2 under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo.

Jeff Teague collected 21 points and 10 assists for the Hawks, who were held to 5-for-22 shooting in the fourth quarter en route to their sixth straight road loss.

Lopez made three of four free throws to extend Brooklyn's lead to 90-82 with 2:49 left before Josh Smith capped a 7-0 run with an emphatic dunk.

After Williams sank two free throws to push the lead to three, Lopez blocked Teague's jump shot and Williams made two more from the charity stripe to extend his consecutive streak to 47.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta G Lou Williams suffered a right knee sprain while on a fastbreak midway into the second quarter. Trainers carried him to the locker room where he was then placed in a wheelchair. ... Atlanta C Al Horford sat out with hamstring and calf pain. C Zaza Pachulia started in his place and finished with four points and six rebounds. ... Brooklyn F Gerald Wallace returned to the starting lineup as he deals with bruised ribs. He had eight points.
