Mavericks 92, Pistons 77: O.J. Mayo went 6-of-9 from 3-point range en route to a game-high 27 points as host Dallas snapped its three-game losing streak.

Elton Brand contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds, Vince Carter added 12 points off the bench and Derek Fisher had two points, three assists and two steals in his debut with the Mavericks, who have won five straight at home against the Pistons.

Brandon Knight scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half and Jason Maxiell chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds for Detroit, which fell to 1-10 on the road.

Trailing by a point in the second quarter, Detroit went on a 15-3 run to take a 44-33 lead with 3:19 remaining and led by six at halftime. Dallas dominated in the third as Mayo singlehandedly outscored the Pistons 16-11 on 6-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.

After Rodney Stuckey opened the fourth with a jump shot to get Detroit within 67-61, the Mavericks used a 13-0 burst to take control. Brand scored six points during the spurt, which made it 80-61 with 8:12 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Tayshaun Prince and Kyle Singler scored 12 points apiece for the Pistons while Greg Monroe grabbed 15 rebounds. ... Detroit failed to reach the 100-point plateau for the 11th time in 13 road games. ... Dallas PG Darren Collison, who had been questionable with a sprained finger, had five points and eight assists in 27 minutes off the bench.
