Clippers 103, Trail Blazers 90:
Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 25 points while Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan added 21 apiece as visiting Los Angeles held off a late Portland rally.

The Clippers led by as many as 25 points in the first half and were ahead 60-39 at halftime. The Trail Blazers outscored Los Angeles 32-17 in the third quarter and got as close as four points midway through the fourth quarter before the Clippers pulled away.

Nicolas Batum led Portland with 23 points and rookie guard Damian Lillard added 16. LaMarcus Aldridge, who came into the game averaging 22 points, was held to 14.

Crawford, who played with the Trail Blazers last season, hit 9 of 17 from the field. Clippers forward Blake Griffin, who has been bothered by elbow and neck injuries, scored seven points and had 10 rebounds in 26 minutes.

Paul's basket with 6:11 remaining in the first quarter broke a 15-15 tie and the Clippers never relinquished the lead.
