Mavericks 114, Trail Blazers 91: O.J. Mayo scored a game-high 32 points on his 25th birthday and Darren Collison added 14 points and 13 assists as host Dallas pulled away in the fourth quarter to continue its hot start without star Dirk Nowitzki.

Dallas led 57-55 at halftime and 83-79 after three quarters before heating up in the fourth to put it away. The Mavericks went 14-of-18 from the field in outscoring the Trail Blazers 31-12 in the final period.

Portland rookie Damian Lillard cooled off after recording at least 20 points and seven assists in each of his first three games, going 2-of-13 from the field for 13 points and adding five assists. LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews led the Trail Blazers with 20 points apiece.

Dallas center Chris Kaman added 16 points and six rebounds off the bench in his second game back from a calf injury, and rookie Jae Crowder scored all of his nine points in the fourth quarter.

Mayo, who hit a career-high seven 3-pointers in Saturday's blowout of Charlotte, went 12-of-18 from the field, including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dallas center Brandan Wright scored 10 points, giving him four consecutive games with double-digit scoring for the first time in his career. … The Mavericks shot 61.5 percent (48-for-78) and have topped 61 percent in consecutive games. … Mayo has scored 30 or more points in back-to-back games for the fourth time in his career and the first since February 2009.
