CLIPPERS 120, SPURS 108: Chris Paul collected 36 points and 11 assists and Mo Williams hit some key shots down the stretch as Los Angeles won in San Antonio for the first time in over a decade.

The Spurs were without guard Tony Parker, who got the night off due to a sore right quad.

Williams finished with 33 points off the bench and Blake Griffin collected 15 points and nine rebounds for the Clippers, who had not won in San Antonio since Jan. 31, 2002 - a span of 17 losses.

The Spurs hung in until late in the fourth quarter, tying it at 103 when Manu Ginobili hit the second of two straight 3-pointers.

Not to be outdone, Williams turned the same trick to get Los Angeles back in control. The veteran guard hit two straight 3-pointers off feeds from Paul.

Williams ended up going 7 for 9 from 3-point range in his highest scoring game since a 44-point outburst on Feb. 11, 2009, when he was with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

San Antonio would miss nine of its last 11 shots as the Clippers pulled away.

Ginobili scored 22 points and Gary Neal - starting in place of Parker - added 18 for the Spurs.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After beginning the season 13-1 at home, San Antonio has dropped three of its last five at the AT&T Center … Los Angeles shot 14 for 27 from beyond the arc and 20 for 24 from the free throw line … Paul had shot 9 for 29 from the field in two previous meetings with the Spurs. He was 12 for 20 on Friday.
