GRIZZLIES 102, RAPTORS 99:
Rudy Gay had 23 points and 12 rebounds and Mike Conley and Marc Gasol each scored 21 as Memphis earned an victory at Toronto.

Memphis has won nine of its last 11 and improved to 10-1 against teams with sub-.500 records.

Reserves O.J. Mayo (16) and Dante Cunningham (10) also reached double figures for the Grizzlies, who have won six in a row over the Raptors.

Toronto got 54 points from its bench, led by Jerryd Bayless’ 18. Leandro Barbosa scored 13 and Linas Kleiza 12, while James Johnson paced the starters with 14.

Tied at 98, Aaron Gray made one of two free throws, but allowed Gay to score over him for a 100-99 Memphis lead with 26.3 seconds remaining.

After Kleiza missed an open jumper, Tony Allen drove for a basket and was fouled by Kleiza but could not convert the three-point play for a 102-99 lead with 8.9 seconds to go.

Jose Calderon missed a 3-pointer with three seconds left and the Grizzlies escaped with a win.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The Raptors were again without forward/center Andrea Bargnani, who has missed 17 straight games with a calf injury and remains uncertain to return during the Raptors’ four-game homestand … Toronto had 30 points in the paint in the first half, just two on fast breaks. The Raptors committed 16 turnovers, leading to 24 points ... Memphis had nine turnovers, allowing only five points off of them.
