Channing Frye had 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 102-101 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

Steve Nash added 20 points and 14 assists for the Suns (27-26), who beat Utah (31-25) for the second time in five days.

Al Jefferson had 14 of his team-high 32 points in the fourth quarter for the Jazz, who have lost three in a row and fell to 0-2 under new head coach Ty Corbin.

Trailing by two in the dying moments, Utah was angling for the equalizer but Paul Millsap turned the ball over and Nash recovered. He then drew a foul on Millsap and hit both free throws to put the game out of reach.

C.J. Miles added a meaningless 3-pointer for the Jazz as time expired.

Down three entering the fourth, the Jazz opened the quarter on a 16-5 run highlighted by a Jefferson three-point play to take an 89-81 lead. The Suns answered with eight straight points to draw even, then pulled ahead on a Mickael Pietrus 3-pointer with 3:34 remaining.

The Jazz pulled to within a single point on three separate occasions but couldn't regain the lead. Deron Williams had a chance to put Utah in front but he missed a 19-foot jumper with 10.9 seconds left and the Suns snagged the rebound.

Frye then hit one of two free throws, setting the stage for Nash's pivotal steal.
