George Hill led a third-quarter onslaught with 12 of his 19 points as the San Antonio Spurs moved to the brink of clinching the best record in the Western Conference with a 124-92 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

Manu Ginobili scored 25 points and Tony Parker added 15 and six assists for the Spurs (60-19), who reached 60 wins for the fourth time in franchise history and reduced their magic number to clinch homecourt in the West to one.

DeMarcus Cousins had 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists for the Kings, who had won six of eight in their best stretch of the season.

San Antonio was clinging to a 51-49 lead at the half, but put up 41 points in the third to take a 22-point advantage and cruise to its third straight win after losing six in a row.

Hill entered midway through the third with San Antonio leading 71-61 and drained a 3-pointer and converted a layup in the first 60 seconds. He capped the quarter with the last five points for a 92-70 lead.
