LeBron James had a season-high 44 points to go with 13 rebounds and six assists to lead the Miami Heat to a 107-100 overtime victory over the host Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Dwyane Wade added 34 points and eight rebounds as Miami (30-9) won its ninth straight game and improved to 21-1 over its last 22 contests.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 31 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for Portland (20-18).

The Trail Blazers had a chance to win the game in regulation but Andre Miller missed two shots in the final seconds.

James was 17-of-26 from the field and scored eight points in overtime as Miami won its 13th consecutive road game and snapped Portland’s eight-game home winning streak.

Nicolas Batum added 22 points for the Trail Blazers.

Chris Bosh added 18 points for Miami. Wade made 15 of 22 shots as the Heat shot 57 percent from the field.

Portland led by seven points with just over two minutes left in regulation but Miami whittled away at the lead. The Heat pulled within 91-89 on Wade’s basket with 1:13 left and tied the score on James Jones’ two free throws with 49.9 seconds left.

Wesley Matthews scored 14 points and Patty Mills added 13 for Portland. Marcus Camby had 14 rebounds.
