Dwight Howard dominated inside en route to 24 points and 18 rebounds as the Orlando Magic held off the Miami Heat 104-95 on Wednesday.

Jameer Nelson chipped in 17 points and 14 assists and J.J. Redick scored 20 points for Orlando, which got some revenge after getting blown out in Miami earlier this month.

The Magic controlled the game in the first half, jumping out to a 26-18 lead in the first quarter and taking a 51-43 edge into the break. The Heat rallied in the third, battling back to within 74-71 by the end of the period.

Orlando pushed it back to 84-76 on Mikael Pietrus’ 3-pointer with 9:36 left in the game but Miami fought all the way back, using a 12-3 run to grab an 88-87 lead when Dwyane Wade converted a three-point play with 6:48 on the clock.

The Magic were too strong down the stretch, ripping off a 15-6 spurt over the final 4:20 to seal the win.

LeBron James finished with 25 points and Chris Bosh added 21 for the Heat, who have dropped three straight.
