Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh combined to score 58 points and the Miami Heat won their season-high fifth straight game, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 88-78 on Monday night.

Miami, which has won six of seven, never trailed and has its best record of the season at 14-8.

Wade led the Heat with 25 points, while James scored 17 points and Bosh added 16. Carlos Arroyo scored a season-high 18 points, going 6-of-6 from the field, making both of his three-point shots and all four three throws he attempted.

Corey Maggette came off the bench to lead the Bucks with 20 points. Brandon Jennings scored 13 points and Andrew Bogut added 11.

Arroyo's basket broke a 2-2 tie and the Heat steadily pulled away throughout the half. Miami was ahead 46-35 at halftime and built the lead to 69-56 late in the third period.

It appeared Miami would cruise to the win, but the Heat had to withstand a late Milwaukee run. The Bucks cut the lead to 74-71 midway through the fourth quarter, but James and Wade hit jumpers and Bosh made a layup to put the Heat up 80-71.

Milwaukee (7-13) has lost eight of 10.
