Bargnani and Weems combined to shoot 22-of-36 from the floor and former 76er Reggie Evans added 14 rebounds for the Raptors (3-9), who were 2-2 on the trip and head home for seven of their next eight games.

Bargnani scored on a layup and moments later hit a baseline jumper to give Toronto an 87-85 lead with 2:20 left and trigger a closing 9-1 spurt. Weems finished a fast break with a layup about a minute later to provide a three-point lead before Philadelphia turned it over several times down the stretch.

Elton Brand scored a season-high 27 points with eight rebounds and Jrue Holiday added 17 points and seven assists for the Sixers (2-10), who lost their fifth straight game and have the worst record in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia played without Andre Iguodala (Achilles) for the second straight game and fourth time this season.
