Jarred Kelenic drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Toronto Blue Jays 3-2 Friday night.

Tom Murphy hit a two-run homer for the Mariners, who have won three in a row.

With two outs in the ninth, Jays right-hander Adam Cimber (2-4) walked Kyle Seager and Abraham Toro. Luis Torrens reached on an infield single as his grounder deflected off Cimber's glove.

Toronto manager Charlie Montoyo brought in left-hander Brad Hand to face the rookie, but Hand threw four consecutive pitches out of the strike zone to force home the winning run.

Mariners right-hander Drew Steckenrider (5-2) got out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the inning. The Blue Jays got singles from Alejandro Kirk and pinch hitter Corey Dickerson, a sacrifice bunt by Santiago Espinal and an intentional walk to George Springer.

Marcus Semien hit a foul ball down the right field line that first baseman Ty France raced back on and made an over-the-shoulder catch. France spun and threw a one-hopper to catcher Murphy, but pinch runner Breyvic Valera was originally ruled safe. However, Breyvic was called out on a video review, ending the threat.

The Mariners scored first on Murphy's two-run blast in the third inning. Kelenic led off with a double down the left field line and Murphy followed by lining a 1-2 pitch from left-hander Robbie Ray over the left field wall.

The Blue Jays tied the score in the fourth.

Semien led off with what was originally called a double, but a video review determined he had been tagged out at second base.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. drew a one-out walk and Bo Bichette lined a double to right, sending Guerrero to third. Teoscar Hernandez was caught looking at a called third strike from right-hander Chris Flexen but Lourdes Gurriel grounded a two-out single to center, the ball bouncing just out of the reach of diving shortstop J.P. Crawford, to bring home both runners.

Flexen went six innings and allowed two runs on six hits. He walked one and struck out three.

Ray tossed seven innings and gave up two runs on five hits. He walked one and fanned eight.
