Renato Nunez and Victor Reyes blasted two-run homers during a five-run fourth, and the Detroit Tigers completed a three-game sweep of the host Baltimore Orioles with a 6-4 triumph on Thursday.

Robbie Grossman also homered for Detroit, while Jeimer Candelario had two extra-base hits and drove in a run. Willi Castro added two hits and scored a run.

Tigers starter Matt Manning (3-5) gave up three runs on eight hits but didn't issue a walk in six innings. Michael Fulmer pitched the last two innings for his seventh save.

Detroit slugger Miguel Cabrera, who hit the 499th homer of his career on Wednesday, did not play.

DJ Stewart led the Orioles offense with a pair of solo homers. Cedric Mullins had three hits and scored on a steal of home. John Means (5-4) allowed all of the Tigers' runs in 4 1/3 innings on eight hits. A quartet of relievers combined for 4 2/3 scoreless innings.

Baltimore stole a run in the first inning. Manager Brandon Hyde successfully challenged an inning-ending double play call. Anthony Santander was then caught off first base but the Tigers botched the rundown, allowing Mullins to steal home.

The Tigers solved Means in the fourth. Jonathan Schoop led off with a walk and Candelario brought him home with a double. One out later, Nunez blasted a two-run homer to left field. Castro followed with a single and Reyes smashed his two-run shot to cap the five-run inning.

Stewart made it 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth with his first homer of the game. Grossman got that run back in the fifth with his 18th homer, tying him for the team lead.

Stewart's second long ball, which exited over the center field wall, cut Detroit's lead to 6-3 in the sixth. Austin Hays' run-scoring fielder's choice grounder in the seventh reduced the Tigers' advantage to two runs.

Baltimore had two baserunners in the ninth with one out, but Fulmer retired the next two batters on fielder's choice grounders.
