Cesar Hernandez hit a walk-off, two-run homer in the 10th inning as the Cleveland Indians pulled out a 5-3 victory over the visiting Minnesota Twins on Saturday.

After ace Shane Bieber failed to hold a 3-0 lead, Cleveland managed to prevail when Hernandez opened the 10th with a line drive that just made it over the top of the right-field wall off Minnesota's Alex Colome to even the three-game set.

The Twins got two hits apiece from Luis Arraez and Max Kepler, but dropped to 0-8 in extra-inning games this season - all in 10 innings.

After Cleveland fell 10-0 in Friday's series opener, Franmil Reyes homered -- for the third time off Minnesota starter Kenta Maeda this season -- with a man on and two outs in the bottom of the first for a 2-0 Cleveland lead.

The Indians made it 3-0 in the second with Austin Hedges' bloop RBI single, also with two away in the frame.

Josh Donaldson got a run back for Minnesota with his sacrifice fly in the top of the third. Miguel Sano made it 3-2 in the fourth, with a long drive over the center-field fence for his sixth homer in nine games.

The Twins then tied it in the sixth when Kepler tripled off the left-center field wall, and scored on rookie Alex Kirilloff's single that chased Bieber. In addition to those three runs, Bieber allowed eight hits while walking one with six strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings.

Maeda, meanwhile, abruptly left after five innings -- with no official reason given by the Twins. All three runs the right-hander yielded were earned, plus three hits with a walk and six strikeouts.

Cleveland had runners on second and third with one out in the ninth. But Hansel Robles struck out Jake Bauers, then walked Amed Rosario to load the bases. Hedges (two hits) worked a full count before popping up to Andrelton Simmons at short.

Reyes exited with a left abdominal strain suffered during his at-bat in the sixth inning.
