Jose Ramirez belted a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth inning and Trevor Bauer struck out 10 batters as the host Cleveland Indians completed a four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers with a 6-3 victory on Thursday.

Jordan Luplow launched a two-run homer and Ramirez recorded his third RBI on a fielder's choice in the eighth inning for the Indians, who have won 11 of their last 13 overall to move a season-high 15 games over .500.

Harold Castro crushed a two-run homer and Niko Goodrum also went deep for the Tigers, who have lost four straight and 20 of their last 23 contests overall, and have dropped 12 of 13 against Cleveland this season.

The Indians snapped a tie at 3 in the sixth inning after Luplow ripped a two-out single before Ramirez crushed a 1-1 fastball from Matthew Boyd (6-8) over the wall in left field. Ramirez's homer was his ninth of the season and extended his hitting streak to 10 games.

Cleveland tacked on an insurance run in the eighth inning after Detroit failed to communicate on Ramirez's popup to shallow center field, allowing rookie Oscar Mercado to race home from third base.

Bauer (9-7) overcame a pair of early homers to allow three runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings to pick up the win.

Relievers Oliver Perez and Adam Cimber bridged the gap to Brad Hand, who struck out four batters to secure his fourth save of four outs or more of the season and 26th overall.

Cleveland jumped out to an early lead as Luplow followed Carlos Santana's two-out double by depositing an 0-2 fastball from Boyd over the wall in left field for a quick 2-0 lead.

Goodrum sent a 3-2 fastball from Bauer over the wall in right field for a two-out homer in the second inning. The homer was Goodrum's eighth of the season and first since July 4.

Detroit seized a 3-2 advantage in the third inning as Jordy Mercer singled and Castro deposited a 1-0 cutter from Bauer over the wall in center field, but Cleveland forged a tie on Tyler Naquin's sacrifice fly in the fifth.
