Mike Trout homered for the eighth time in seven games and Albert Pujols hit his 647th career blast while driving in four runs as the Los Angeles Angels registered a 9-2 victory over the visiting Seattle Mariners on Saturday night.

Kole Calhoun also went deep and Luis Rengifo went 3-for-4 for the Angels. Trout increased his American League-leading total to 30 with the two-run shot as the Angels beat the Mariners for the second straight night.

Los Angeles has scored 22 runs in the first two contests of the three-game series, including a 13-0 rout on Friday as Trout had six RBIs and Taylor Cole and Felix Pena combined for a no-hitter on a night when the late Tyler Skaggs was honored.

Right-hander Matt Harvey (3-4) gave up one run and four hits over 5 2/3 innings after missing the previous seven-plus weeks due to a back injury. Harvey struck out three and walked three in a 93-pitch effort.

Seattle left-hander Wade LeBlanc (5-3) was pummeled for six runs and 10 hits in four innings. LeBlanc struck out five and walked none as the Mariners fell for the 10th time in 12 games.

Pujols had an RBI single in the second inning for the Angels' first run and he was thrown out trying for second after the initial throw came home. Calhoun followed by hitting a first-pitch fastball 407 feet over the fence in center for his 20th homer of the season.

Los Angeles added three runs in the third. Rengifo doubled inside the third base line to start the frame and scored on a triple to right-center by David Fletcher.

LeBlanc fell behind Trout 2-0 before the Angels' star slugged the next pitch 409 feet over the fence in left to make it 5-0. The blast gave Trout the sixth 30-homer campaign of his career and also was his sixth of the season against Seattle.

The Angels added another run in the fourth on four straight one-out singles. Calhoun, Kevan Smith and Rengifo had hits to load the bases before Fletcher drove in Calhoun with a single to right.

Seattle got on the board in the sixth when Mallex Smith tripled to center off Harvey and scored on a sacrifice fly to right by J.P. Crawford.

Tim Beckham's RBI ground single in the seventh cut the Mariners' deficit to 6-2.

Seattle right-hander David McKay walked two batters in the seventh and Pujols came up with two outs and sent a full-count curveball 425 feet over the fence in left-center for a 9-2 lead. The blast was Pujols' 14th of the season.
