Bryce Harper homered and doubled to lift the host Philadelphia Phillies to a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday.

Harper also walked and reached base three times. He blasted his eighth homer of the season, a 466-foot shot to center field with two outs in the first inning, for a 1-0 Phillies lead.

Cesar Hernandez added two hits for the Phillies.

Phillies starter Aaron Nola tossed six-plus solid innings and allowed eight hits and one run. Nola (4-0) tied his career high with 12 strikeouts against just one walk while throwing 106 pitches, including 73 for strikes.

Hector Neris threw two innings of scoreless relief and earned his seventh save in seven chances. It was Neris' first career six-out save. He closed the game by getting Trevor Story to fly out to Odubel Herrera in center.

Raimel Tapia had two hits for the Rockies, who lost their third straight.

Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela (3-3) was effective in five innings, giving up five hits and two runs (one earned). He walked four and struck out two.

In the third, the Phillies went ahead 2-0 when Senzatela tossed a wild pitch, allowing Jean Segura to score.

The Rockies had runners at first and third with two outs in the fourth, but Brendan Rodgers struck out swinging on a curveball.

Colorado had runners on first and second again with two outs in the fifth, but David Dahl struck out for the third time, this time on a 95 mph fastball from Nola.

The Rockies sliced the lead to 2-1 in the seventh when Tony Wolters tripled off the wall in right and then scored on a pinch-hit double by Ryan McMahon.

Colorado eventually loaded the bases in the seventh, but Daniel Murphy grounded out to Segura at shortstop.

Harper doubled to left in the seventh with two outs but was stranded when Rhys Hoskins grounded out to end the threat.
