Justin Turner, Max Muncy and DJ Peters hit home runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers pulled off a 4-3 victory over the visiting San Francisco Giants on Thursday, defeating their National League West rival for the fourth time in four games this season.

Left-hander David Price opened a bullpen game by retiring all eight batters he faced as the Dodgers won for the 13th time in their past 15 games.

Los Angeles also extended its winning streak over San Francisco to six games going back to last season.

Evan Longoria and Donovan Solano hit home runs for the Giants, who are 7-4 over their last 11 games -- with all four defeats to the Dodgers. San Francisco starter Alex Wood (5-2), pitching against his former team, gave up four runs on six hits over six innings.

The Dodgers used seven pitchers, with Victor Gonzalez (2-0) earning the victory despite giving up Solano's two-run homer in the sixth that tied the game 3-3.

Kenley Jansen pitched a perfect ninth inning for his 12th save in 14 chances as the Dodgers won their eighth consecutive game against NL West opponents.

The Dodgers took a 2-0 lead in the third inning on Turner's two-run shot, his ninth homer of the season and second in his last three games.

After Longoria hit a solo shot in the fourth off Joe Kelly, Los Angeles made it 3-1 in the fifth when Peters hit one out to center field, his first career home run in his 17th game.

Solano's home run, his first of the season, tied the game in the sixth before the Dodgers went back on top again in the bottom of the inning on Muncy's blast over the wall in right-center. All three Dodgers home runs came against Wood.

The defeat ended the Giants' seven-game road winning streak, their longest since 2016.
