Gregory Polanco's bases-loaded sacrifice fly in the 11th inning Friday gave the Pittsburgh Pirates a 3-2 win over the visiting San Francisco Giants to halt a two-game losing streak.

Trailing 2-1, Michael Perez started on second for Pittsburgh in the 11th. Adam Frazier, who was 4 for 5, drove Perez home with a triple off the wall in right off Caleb Baragar (2-1) to tie it. Bryan Reynolds and Will Craig were intentionally walked to load the bases, and Polanco flied out to center to bring Frazier home.

Brandon Crawford's homer in the eighth broke up a scoreless game and gave the Giants a 1-0 lead. The Pirates tied it in the ninth on Reynolds' RBI single. Austin Slater's RBI single in the top of the 11th off Luis Oviedo (1-1) gave San Francisco a 2-1 lead.

Pittsburgh's Miguel Yajure -- who was making his second start of the season and his career after the team recalled him earlier in the day -- pitched five shutout innings, with one hit, one walk and four strikeouts.

San Francisco starter Kevin Gausman pitched into the ninth, giving up one run and five hits, with 12 strikeouts and no walks. The Giants had won three straight.

It was a classic pitchers' duel for most of the game, including some action at the plate from one side's pitcher. Gausman, a .083 hitter entering the game, knocked a one-out single up the middle in the third, the first hit by either team.

Crawford led off the eighth with his eighth homer, to right, for a 1-0 Giants lead.

In the bottom of the ninth, Frazier led off with a single to left and moved to third on Kevin Newman's single to center. Jake McGee replaced Gausman and gave up Reynolds' RBI single to right for a 1-1 tie, then recorded three straight strikeouts.

In the top of the 11th, Crawford started on second, moved to third on Mauricio Dubon's fly ball and scored on Slater's single to right.
