Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford had three hits apiece, and Alex Dickerson added a home run, powering the host San Francisco Giants to a 6-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.

Rookie right-hander Shaun Anderson (3-2) took a lead into the sixth inning, and four relievers combined for 3 1/3 innings of one-run ball, helping the Giants beat the Diamondbacks in San Francisco for the first time in five tries this season.

Using a 12-hit attack, the Giants scored in five different innings, including twice in the seventh to turn a tight game into a 6-2 advantage. Dickerson had the big hit of the inning, a single that produced his second RBI of the night.

Dickerson's homer, in the second inning, was his second of the season. The solo shot opened the scoring against Arizona starter Merrill Kelly (7-8).

The Giants also scored single runs in the third on an RBI double by Posey, the fifth on an Arizona error and the sixth when Crawford raced home on a foulout to Arizona first baseman Jake Lamb by Tyler Austin.

Anderson won for the first time in three outings against the Diamondbacks this season. He was charged with two runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked one and struck out three.

Reyes Moronta pitched out of a two-on, two-out jam to preserve a 3-2 lead in the sixth to begin the run of successful Giants relief efforts. Sam Dyson, Tony Watson and Will Smith slammed the door from there, with Smith surviving a shaky ninth inning in which the Diamondbacks scored a run and twice brought the potential tying run to the plate.

In a non-save situation, the Giants closer struck out Ketel Mare and David Peralta to secure just San Francisco's second win in five games on its current seven-game homestand.

Crawford (two) and Posey (one) combined for three doubles among their six hits. Dickerson and Mike Yastrzemski chipped in with two hits apiece for the Giants.

Jarrod Dyson and Carson Kelly had three hits apiece while Eduardo Escobar collected two for the Diamondbacks, who won the series opener 5-1 on Thursday.

Merrill Kelly allowed three runs and seven hits in five innings. He walked one and struck out two.
