Jonathan Villar and Anthony Santander hit home runs and Andrew Cashner pitched six solid innings as the Baltimore Orioles snapped a 10-game losing streak with an 8-4 victory against the host Seattle Mariners on Saturday afternoon.

Domingo Santana homered for the Mariners, who were wearing the uniforms of the 1969 Seattle Pilots on Turn Back the Clock Day. Seattle had a three-game winning streak end.

Cashner (7-3), a right-hander, allowed two runs on five hits, with one walk and three strikeouts.

Trailing 1-0, Villar hit a three-run homer off Mariners left-hander Tommy Milone (1-2) with one out in the top of the fourth. With one out, Pedro Severino lined a single to left and Renato Nunez followed with a double to left to send Severino to third. Villar then hit an 0-1 pitch over the fence in left.

The Orioles added to their lead in the sixth off right-hander Gerson Bautista. Nunez led off with a walk and, two outs later, Santander went deep to right field.

After the Mariners scored once in the bottom of the inning to pull within 5-2, the Orioles scored once in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Severino and twice more in the eighth on a two-run single by Hanser Alberto.

The Mariners took a 1-0 lead in the first as Santana walked with two outs and scored on a double by Daniel Vogelbach. They scored in the sixth as Santana led off with a ground-rule double to left-center field and, an out later, scored on a throwing error by third baseman Alberto.

Santana hit a solo shot to left-center field off Orioles left-hander Josh Rogers in the eighth. The Mariners scored their final run in the ninth on an RBI double by Mallex Smith.

Milone, a left-hander who was starting without an opener for the first time in his past four appearances, allowed three runs on four hits in five innings, with three walks and six strikeouts.
