Pitcher Zack Greinke drove in four runs with two of the five homers hit by Arizona on Tuesday night as the Diamondback scored a second straight win over the host San Diego Padres at Petco Park.

There were a total of eight homers in Arizona's 8-5 win. Ketel Marte, John Ryan Murphy and Christian Walker also homered for the Diamondbacks. Hunter Renfroe homered twice for the Padres off Greinke. Wil Myers hit a two-run, pinch-hit homer off Andrew Chafin in the seventh

Greinke, who served up four homers to the Dodgers on Opening Day, picked up the win (1-1), giving up three runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts in six innings. Eric Lauer (1-1), who gave up four runs on two homers after pitching 9 1/3 straight scoreless innings to start the season, took the loss. Greg Holland got his second save.

It was the first two-homer game of Greinke's career and his 30th game with 10 or more strikeouts.

The Padres took a quick 2-0 lead when Renfroe followed Manny Machado's single with his first homer of the season.

Marte halved the lead with a solo homer off Lauer with one out in the fourth. Nick Ahmed followed with a single and Lauer issued his only walk to Murphy to bring up Greinke, who hit a three-run homer to left to put the Diamondbacks ahead 4-2.

Murphy (436 feet) and Greinke (413 feet) hit back-to-back homers off Padres reliever Adam Warren in the sixth while Renfroe homered in the bottom of the sixth off Greinke. Walker hit the third homer allowed by Warren in the top of the seventh ahead of the first pinch-hit homer of Myers' career in the bottom of the inning.

Greinke became the second pitcher in Diamondbacks' history to have a two-homer game. Micah Owings was the first in 2007.

Padres manager Andy Green was ejected in the sixth inning after Machado was called out by plate umpire Bill Welke for batter's interference on a foul pop dropped by catcher Murphy. Green got into a vehement argument with Welke.

The game's first 12 runs all scored on homers. Arizona's last run scored on a wild pitch.
