Robinson Cano had a three-run homer and four RBIs in a three-hit game, Marco Gonzales allowed one hit in six shutout innings and the visiting Seattle Mariners defeated the Texas Rangers 13-0 Saturday night.

Dee Gordon added a two-run homer, Mike Zunino had a solo shot, Mitch Haniger had two doubles and a single to extend his hit streak to 11 games, and Guillermo Heredia had three hits including an RBI double as the Mariners had a season-best run total.

Gonzales (13-9) allowed one hit and one walk and struck out three to win for the first time since July 29, a span of six winless starts.

Rangers starter Mike Minor (12-8) allowed three runs, six hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

The Mariners took a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning on Cano's ninth homer of the season that also scored Haniger and Jean Segura.

Zunino hit his 20th homer of the season in the sixth against Alex Claudio.

After a single by Delino DeShields with one out in the third, Gonzalez had 11 straight outs to end his outing.

The Mariners increased the lead to 5-0 in the seventh on doubles by Haniger and Cano against C.D. Pelham.

The Rangers loaded the bases on a walk and two singles with one out in the seventh against Nick Vincent but Isiah Kiner-Falefa grounded into a double play.

Kyle Seager tripled, and Gordon hit his third homer of the season against Bartolo Colon in the eighth. Nelson Cruz added a two-run single against Zac Curtis in the inning. Another run scored on a passed ball.

Seattle's Zach Duke pitched a perfect bottom of the eighth.

Curtis allowed Heredia's RBI double and Ben Gamel's sacrifice fly in the ninth. Eddie Butler gave up Kristopher Negron's RBI single in the inning.

Justin Grimm pitched a perfect bottom of the ninth for Seattle.

The Rangers were playing their second game under interim manager Don Wakamatsu, the bench coach until manager Jeff Banister was fired on Friday.
