All-Star Matt Kemp homered and drove in four runs as the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers posted their fifth straight win, 6-4 over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.

Juan Rivera homered in his first game with his new team and Dioner Navarro added an RBI single for the Dodgers, who led 6-0.

Kemp hit a two-run homer off Joe Saunders (6-8) in the sixth - his 23rd of the season - and added a two-run single in the seventh.

Fellow All-Star Clayton Kershaw (10-4) was cruising along until the seventh when third baseman Juan Uribe’s error led to four unearned runs. Miguel Montero drove in a run with a single and Xavier Nady drilled a breaking ball over the left-center field wall for a three-run homer that cut the lead to 6-4.

Kershaw struck out pinch-hitter Sean Burroughs to end the inning. The National League strikeout leader allowed five hits and fanned eight in seven innings en route to his fifth straight win over Arizona.

Mike MacDougal worked the eighth, Hong-Chih Kou recorded the first two out of the ninth and rookie Javy Guerra struck out pinch-hitter Brandon Allen with runners on the corners to end it. It was Guerra's fifth save in as many chances.
