Chris Young capped a huge rally with a go-ahead RBI single in the ninth inning, leading the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks to an 8-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday.

Wily Mo Pena homered and Juan Miranda had a game-tying RBI double for Arizona, which overcame Shaun Marcum’s fourth-inning grand slam – the first hit by a pitcher since Brad Penny hit one for the Cardinals on May 21, 2010.

The Diamondbacks' comeback helped All-Star snub Daniel Hudson avoid his first loss since May 12. The Brewers, meanwhile, suffered just their 12th setback in 41 games at Miller Park.

Milwaukee was without four-time All-Star Ryan Braun (strained calf) for a second straight game.

Kelly Johnson led off the ninth with a single off John Axford (2-2) and advanced to second on a wild pitch. One batter later, Young plated the go-ahead run with a line drive to left field.

Miguel Montero, who homered in the fourth inning, added an RBI single.

Sam Demel (4-3) threw a scoreless eighth and David Hernandez struck out the side in the ninth for his fourth save in six chances.
