Ottawa at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The surging Washington Capitals aim to extend their point streak to nine games when they host the Ottawa Senators on Monday. Nicklas Backstrom continued his torrid stretch by recording his second two-goal performance in four games while also adding an assist in the Capitals' 4-0 victory at New Jersey on Saturday. Backstrom has scored five goals and set up four others in his last six games for Washington, which has won two in a row and owns a 6-0-2 mark in its last eight contests.
Nashville at Columbus 7:00 PM ET
The Columbus Blue Jackets attempt to begin another winning streak as they continue their five-game homestand against the Nashville Predators on Monday. Columbus had its seven-game run snapped in overtime by Washington in the opener of the stretch at Nationwide Arena but bounced back with a 3-2 shootout triumph over Chicago on Saturday. Defenseman Jack Johnson scored the decisive goal in the ninth round of the bonus format as the Blue Jackets extended their point streak to nine games (8-0-1).
Pittsburgh at Florida 7:30 PM ET
After completing a perfect three-game homestand, the Pittsburgh Penguins vie for a home-and-home sweep against the Florida Panthers when the teams meet in the Sunshine State on Monday. Marc-Andre Fleury has been dominant during his personal four-game winning streak, stopping 128-of-132 shots - including a season-high 45 in Saturday's 3-1 triumph over Florida. Captain Sidney Crosby scored his first goal in nine games as the Penguins posted their 21st victory in 29 meetings with the Panthers.
Arizona at Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
The Vancouver Canucks look to earn a split of their four-game homestand when they host the Arizona Coyotes on Monday. Vancouver began the stretch at Rogers Arena by scoring a total of one goal in losses to the New York Rangers and Dallas before edging Calgary 3-2 in overtime on Saturday. The Canucks built a two-goal lead but squandered it before defenseman Chris Tanev scored 18 seconds into the extra session to halt the team's five-game skid (0-4-1).
San Jose at Anaheim 10:00 PM ET
After completing a perfect 5-0-0 homestand, the surging San Jose Sharks vie for their 10th win in 11 contests when they visit the Pacific Division-rival Anaheim Ducks on Monday. San Jose began the latter string with a 6-4 triumph over Anaheim on Nov. 29 for its second victory in as many meetings this season. Logan Couture scored twice in that contest to begin his stretch of five goals and five assists in the last 10 games.
Calgary at Los Angeles 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings attempt to remain perfect on their homestand when they face off against the reeling Calgary Flames on Monday. Los Angeles completed its 1-3-1 road trip with three consecutive defeats (0-2-1) before beginning its four-game stretch at Staples Center with a 6-4 triumph over St. Louis in the back end of a home-and-home series. The Kings followed that comeback victory with another on Saturday as they scored three unanswered tallies en route to a 4-2 win over Arizona.
