Los Angeles at Toronto 5:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Kings are receiving every opponent's best punch when they hit the road, and the reigning Stanley Cup champions have been knocked for a loop in 10-of-14 arenas (4-6-4). Los Angeles looks for a better result as it continues a five-game road trip against the surging Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. Defenseman Drew Doughty collected a goal and an assist on Friday as the Kings dropped a 6-2 decision to Montreal and fell to 1-2-0 on their current trek.
Calgary at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The Calgary Flames look to snap out of a scoring slump and salvage something out of a four-game road trip when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. The Flames have scored seven times while registering 140 shots on goal during a four-game losing streak and face the red-hot Blackhawks, who have won eight of their last nine games. “Every team goes through some adversity,” Flames left wing Curtis Glencross told reporters, “and we’re going to have to just dig our way out of it here.”
NY Rangers at Edmonton 9:30 PM ET
After enjoying a four-day break, the New York Rangers take to the ice for the second time in two nights as they continue their road trip against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday. New York proved to be well-rested as it began its four-game trek Saturday with a dominant 5-1 triumph at Vancouver. The Rangers scored the first five goals of the contest, with captain Ryan McDonagh and J.T. Miller tallying 43 seconds apart and Mats Zuccarello registering his sixth career two-goal performance.
