Preview Roundups

Philadelphia at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
Joel Quenneville is no stranger to using colorful language to get his point across, however, one might ascertain there's a bit more behind Tuesday's profanity-laced outburst with the Chicago Blackhawks on the wrong end of five of their last six contests. With just six goals during their three-game losing skid, the Blackhawks look to get it in gear on Wednesday when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.
Pittsburgh at Edmonton 8:30 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Penguins have long been known for their scoring prowess, making their current offensive issues quite puzzling. Pittsburgh looks to end a string of five straight games with fewer than three goals when it continues its five-game road trip Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers.
New Jersey at Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
Two of the most surprising teams in the early season meet Wednesday night when the New Jersey Devils begin a three-game trip to Western Canada against the Vancouver Canucks. The Devils, who missed the playoffs each of the last five seasons, have won eight of the first 10 games and the Canucks boast points in the last five contests (4-0-1) after suffering two years without a postseason.
Toronto at Anaheim 10:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks have adjusted to life without Ryan Getzlaf for much of the early season, so they likely won't experience much in the way of an adjustment on Wednesday when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs. Getzlaf, who has missed five games already this season due to a lower-body injury, was placed on injured reserve after he was struck in the face by a deflected puck in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over Carolina.
Nashville at San Jose 10:30 PM ET
Logan Couture has been on a force on the offensive end and the San Jose Sharks have benefited as a result. With 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in his last seven contests, Couture aims to keep his foot on the gas Wednesday when the Sharks play the second contest of their five-game homestand against the Nashville Predators.
