Columbus at Toronto 7:00 PM ET
A pair of last-place teams in the Eastern Conference who are stumbling to the finish line will square off when the Columbus Blue Jackets pay a visit to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night. Columbus, which is last in the Metropolitan Division, and Atlantic cellar dwellar Toronto have each lost five of their last six games.
Vancouver at Edmonton 7:00 PM ET
Celebrations have been few and far between for the Edmonton Oilers this season but a festive atmosphere is expected on Wednesday when the cellar-dwelling club hosts the Vancouver Canucks in the final home game at Rexall Place. With the legendary Wayne Gretzky slated to be one of the 100 Oilers' alumni in attendance, the pregame fireworks could be worth the price of admission before the Pacific Division rivals face off for the first of two contests in a four-day stretch to conclude the season.
Philadelphia at Detroit 8:00 PM ET
The Detroit Red Wings can strengthen their bid for a 25th consecutive postseason appearance when they open a pivotal back-to-back set against playoff contenders with a visit to the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. Detroit, Philadelphia and Boston each have 91 points as they vie for the final two postseason spots in the Eastern Conference, with the Red Wings clinging to third place in the Atlantic Division by virtue of having one game in hand over Boston ahead of Thursday's tilt at TD Garden.
