Preview Roundups

Minnesota at NY Rangers 7:00 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild attempt to complete a perfect three-game road trip and earn at least one point for the eighth time in nine contests when they visit the fading New York Rangers on Friday. The Wild opened the trek with a 5-3 win against the New York Islanders before rallying from an early two-goal deficit to knock off New Jersey 4-2 on Thursday as Eric Staal recorded his 900th career point.
Pittsburgh at Carolina 7:30 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Penguins vie for their sixth consecutive victory overall and a split of the season series versus the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday when the Metropolitan Division rivals reconvene at PNC Arena. The Penguins dropped the first two encounters between the clubs before skating to a 3-1 win on Jan. 23 to ignite their current 10-1-1 stretch.
Winnipeg at St. Louis 8:00 PM ET
After ending their season-high 10-game homestand on a down note, the Winnipeg Jets will try to rebound when they open a two-game road trip at the slumping St. Louis Blues on Friday night. The Jets had their three-game winning streak halted in a 4-3 loss to Los Angeles but they have opened ground in the Central Division on the Blues, losers of four in a row.
San Jose at Chicago 8:30 PM ET
While qualifying for the postseason has become a longshot, the Chicago Blackhawks hope to conclude their five-game homestand on a winning note when they host the San Jose Sharks on Friday. Chicago, which hasn't missed the playoffs since 2007-08, has a double-digit deficit to make up for a wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
Vancouver at Vegas 10:30 PM ET
Seemingly setting a milestone every time they take the ice, particularly at home, the Vegas Golden Knights resume their pursuit of the Presidents' Trophy when they host the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night. Vegas already holds the record for victories by an expansion club and set the mark for most home wins (23) by a first-year team last time out.
