Columbus at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia Flyers attempt to extend their point streak to 10 games when they host the Columbus Blue Jackets in the finale of their five-game season series on Tuesday. Philadelphia improved to 6-0-3 in its last nine contests with Sunday's 2-1 triumph at Buffalo, its fifth consecutive victory over the Sabres. Michael Raffl returned from a seven-game absence due to pneumonia to snap a tie with 7:15 left in the third period as the Flyers remained within reach of a playoff berth in the East.
Washington at Pittsburgh 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Capitals have turned the tables in their rivalry against the Pittsburgh Penguins and go for their third straight victory over Sidney Crosby and company on Tuesday in the finale of a four-game road trip. Washington has dominated the Penguins this season, posting a pair of shutout victories by a combined 7-0 after losing the previous eight matchups. Superstar captain Alex Ovechkin has pumped in 14 goals in 14 games to take over the league lead with 36.
NY Islanders at Carolina 7:00 PM ET
The New York Islanders look to rebound from their first home loss to a Metropolitan rival when they hit the road to face another division foe in the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. The Islanders saw their four-game winning streak come to a halt and fell to 11-1-0 at home versus Metropolitan members with a 6-5 setback to the New York Rangers on Monday.
Buffalo at New Jersey 7:30 PM ET
Riding a four-game losing streak and coming off a pair of disheartening setbacks, the New Jersey Devils open a six-game homestand against the league-worst Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. The Devils have scored only five goals during the four-game skid and their fleeting playoff hopes took another major hit after consecutive road losses at Central Division powers Chicago and Nashville over the weekend. The home team has won seven in a row in the series.
Florida at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The Florida Panthers will be without the services of defenseman Dmitry Kulikov when they open a five-game road trip against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Kulikov, who sat out Sunday's 2-1 shootout loss to St. Louis, was suspended for an additional three games for his low-bridge hit on Dallas' Tyler Seguin.
Dallas at St. Louis 8:00 PM ET
The St. Louis Blues appear to have rebounded from a brief wobble and go for their fourth consecutive victory when they host the injury-riddled Dallas Stars on Tuesday night. St. Louis allowed 11 goals in back-to-back losses following a white-hot 12-0-1 stretch but has recovered with three straight wins capped by a sweep of a two-game trip through the Sunshine State. The Blues have lost four of five to the Stars, including the last three in St. Louis.
San Jose at Nashville 8:00 PM ET
The league-leading Nashville Predators look to complete their four-game homestand in perfect fashion when they face off against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. Nashville began its stretch at Bridgestone Arena with an overtime victory over Tampa Bay before posting identical 3-1 triumphs over Winnipeg and New Jersey.
