Gardner-Webb at Louisiana State 7:00 PM ET

LSU looks to rebound from another disappointing loss and remain unbeaten at home when it hosts Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. The visiting Bulldogs are hoping to pull off the upset they nearly produced in last year’s season opener, when they led at halftime before LSU rallied for a 93-82 victory.

Northern Illinois at Ohio St. 7:00 PM ET

The best way for Ohio State to forget the beating it took Saturday on the road at Connecticut would be to post a win in its next game. But that's easier said than done as the Buckeyes face a formidable task when they host Northern Illinois on Wednesday.

Tulane at North Carolina 7:00 PM ET

North Carolina looks to rebound from a tough road loss and gear up for a difficult neutral-site test when it hosts Tulane on Wednesday. The 11th-ranked Tar Heels will be without one of their top players as they tune up for a high-profile meeting with UCLA on Saturday.

High Point at N.C. State 7:00 PM ET
North Carolina State displayed the type of defense coach Mark Gottfried has wanted in Sunday’s victory over South Florida, and the Wolfpack will have plenty of opportunities to measure their progress when one of the nation's top scorers comes to town Wednesday. N.C. State hosts High Point, which has won eight of its first 10 and features athletic 6-8 forward John Brown.
Kennesaw St. at Louisville 7:00 PM ET
Louisville may have lacked for depth last year, but it appears coach Rick Pitino’s biggest problem so far this year may be too many quality options. The 17th-ranked Cardinals, who have yet to play a home game decided by fewer than 28 points, look to continue their dominant ways at the KFC Yum! Center on Wednesday when they host Kennesaw State.
Florida Atlantic at Tennessee 7:00 PM ET
Tennessee has an excellent chance to snap its three-game losing streak Wednesday when it hosts Florida Atlantic, which fell to 2-7 with an 80-73 loss at Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday. The Volunteers lost at No. 18 Butler 94-86 on Saturday and began their slide with a 73-70 setback to No. 22 George Washington on Nov. 27 despite the exploits of senior Kevin Punter Jr., who averages a team-best 22.9 points — 11th in the nation through Monday's games.
NC-Wilmington at East Carolina 7:00 PM ET
Still undefeated at home, East Carolina's streak will be tested when it faces UNC-Wilmington in a non-conference game on Wednesday. While the Pirates are 5-0 at home, the Seahawks had their five-game winning streak snapped at Georgetown last time out.
Jacksonville at South Florida 7:00 PM ET
USF hopes to solve its first-half offensive woes when it hosts Jacksonville on Wednesday night. The Bulls were held to 15 points in the first half of a 65-46 loss to N.C. State in their last game and have averaged a meager 20.6 points in the opening 20 minutes in their last four games.
South Dakota State at Texas Tech 8:00 PM ET
Summit League powerhouse South Dakota State will have another chance to pick up a win over a major conference opponent when it visits Texas Tech on Wednesday. The Jackrabbits have knocked off TCU and Minnesota - both on the road - in their stellar start and put forth another outstanding shooting exhibition in an 86-68 win over UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, despite playing again without starting point guard George Marshall.
Savannah State at Utah 8:00 PM ET

Sandwiched between contests against Wichita State and Duke, Wednesday’s home date against Savannah State sets up as the perfect trap game for Utah. But coach Larry Krystkowiak insists his team isn’t overlooking the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference program.

North Carolina Central at Houston 8:00 PM ET

High-scoring Houston will try to continue its home win streak when it hosts North Carolina Central on Wednesday. The game is an on-campus portion of the Global Basketball Classic, which will be completed next week in Las Vegas.

Hardin-Simmons at Baylor 8:00 PM ET
With a showdown against in-state rival Texas A&M on the horizon, No. 14 Baylor returns from an eight-day break for its final tune-up when Division III Hardin-Simmons visits Wednesday at the Fort Hood Army base in nearby Killeen, Texas. The Bears have won six straight since a 74-67 loss at Oregon in their second game and witnessed one of the best individual performances in school history on Dec. 8 against Northwestern State.
Chicago St. at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
Minnesota looks to halt a three-game losing skid when it hosts Chicago State on Wednesday. The Gophers suffered a 62-60 setback to Oklahoma State in Sioux Falls, SD to fall to .500 and are in danger of dropping four consecutive nonconference games for the first time since losing five in a row during the 2006-07 campaign.
Nicholls State at Southern Methodist 8:00 PM ET
SMU rolls into Wednesday's non-conference matchup with visiting Nicholls State looking every bit like a team ready to jump into the Top 25. The Mustangs should be well-rested after taking a seven-day break since pasting Michigan 82-58.
Mississippi St. at Florida St. 9:00 PM ET
Florida State has won two straight games for a third time this season, but the Seminoles have yet to string together a three-game winning streak in 2015-16. Impressive freshman Malik Beasley aims to lead Florida State to a third straight triumph Wednesday versus visiting Mississippi State.
Winthrop at Alabama 9:00 PM ET
Coming off impressive back-to-back road victories, Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa to take on non-conference foe Winthrop on Wednesday. Coach Avery Johnson's squad eked out a one-point win at Clemson in its first game without starting guard Dazon Ingram, improving to 4-1 in five road games on the season.
Arizona State at UNLV 10:00 PM ET
Arizona State, which had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 72-58 loss at fourth-ranked Kentucky, will try and rebound on Wednesday night against a UNLV squad that already owns victories over Oregon and Indiana. Don't expect a very friendly greeting for first-year Sun Devils head coach Bobby Hurley from the crowd at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Northern Arizona at Arizona 10:00 PM ET
Blowout victories have been few and far between for No. 12 Arizona this season, but the Wildcats have a prime opportunity to post their second in a row Wednesday when they host Northern Arizona. The Wildcats had just one victory of 20 points or more until smashing Missouri 88-52 on Sunday night and next face a Northern Arizona team that's still trying to break in 11 freshmen.
