December 01, 2015
Michigan at N.C. State 7:00 PM ET
Michigan looks to stay on the winning track when it hits the road to face North Carolina State on Tuesday as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Wolverines dropped a 74-60 decision to Connecticut in their opening game at the Battle 4 Atlantis before bouncing back with a resounding 102-47 victory over Charlotte and a 78-72 triumph against Texas to secure a fifth-place finish in the Bahamas.
Northwestern at Virginia Tech 7:00 PM ET
Northwestern takes to the road for the first time this season, facing a Virginia Tech team on Tuesday that is 3-1 this season in Blacksburg. Both teams have bounced back after losing to top 10 teams during the last week - Northwestern lost to No. 8 North Carolina while Virginia Tech fell to No. 5 Iowa Sate.
Wofford at Georgia Tech 7:00 PM ET
Charles Mitchell has led Georgia Tech to four victories in six games to open the season, boosting his points and rebounds averages after an offseason conditioning program shed 25 pounds from the forward’s 6-8 frame. Mitchell looks for his seventh double-double of the season Tuesday as the Yellow Jackets host Wofford following a November in which the senior averaged 15.3 points and 12.5 rebounds.
Villanova at St. Joseph's 7:00 PM ET
Villanova has some talented offensive players, but it's clear after the season's first three weeks that the defensive end is the Wildcats' No. 1 strength. After two strong defensive performances in Brooklyn last week, the seventh-ranked Wildcats visit city rival Saint Joseph's on Tuesday evening.
Richmond at Florida 7:00 PM ET
Florida overcame a slow start in its most recent victory over FGCU, but the Gators might not be as fortunate if that happens again on Tuesday night against Richmond. The Spiders are coming off an impressive win against highly regarded California from the Pac-12 and also own a victory over Wake Forest of the ACC.
Oakland at Georgia 7:00 PM ET
Georgia point guard Charles Mann worked hard on his conditioning during the offseason and hopes to start reaping more rewards when the Bulldogs host Oakland on Tuesday. The all-SEC coaches preseason first-team selection is 7-for-26 from the field over the first four games after scoring only five points in Georgia's 69-62 loss at Seton Hall on Saturday, dropping his average to 9.3.
Florida Atlantic at East Carolina 7:00 PM ET
East Carolina salvaged the final game of their stay at the Las Vegas Invitational to break a three-game losing streak. The Pirates return home to host Florida Atlantic in a non-conference game Tuesday.
Maryland - E. Shore at Georgetown 7:00 PM ET
Most Big East schools might be able to get away with looking past a mid-major foe, but Georgetown has already proven that it doesn’t have that luxury. The Hoyas eye consecutive wins for the first time this season Tuesday when they continue a six-game homestand against Maryland Eastern Shore.
Virginia at Ohio St. 7:30 PM ET

Ohio State is floundering with three straight losses, including an overtime setback to Memphis on Friday, and heads into the Big Ten/ACC Challenge with more questions than answers. On Tuesday, the Buckeyes task does not get any easier as they host a well-rested No. 10 Virginia squad that last played on Wednesday.

Northwestern St. at Arkansas 8:00 PM ET
Dusty Hannahs got off to a blistering start from 3-point range this season, cooled off a bit last game, but figures to get more prime looks Tuesday night when Arkansas hosts Northwestern State in a nonconference game. Hannahs, a junior guard who transferred from Texas Tech, made 13 of his first 19 attempts from beyond the arc before shooting 1-for-8 from deep on Friday in a 69-66 loss to Stanford in the consolation game of the NIT Season Tip Off at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Loyola-Maryland at Kansas 8:00 PM ET

Kansas already owns a 4-1 record, a No. 6 national ranking and just returned home after winning the Maui Jim Maui Invitational last week. More good news – and a 6-9 reinforcement – arrives Tuesday as five-star recruit Cheick Diallo has been cleared to make his debut for the Jayhawks when they welcome Loyola Maryland to Allen Fieldhouse.

North Dakota State at Iowa St. 8:00 PM ET
Fourth-ranked Iowa State is off to a strong start under first-year coach Steve Prohm and attempts to remain undefeated when it hosts North Dakota State on Tuesday. The Cyclones are a veteran squad and have won each of their past four contests by double digits as they adjust to Prohm after Fred Hoiberg left to become coach of the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
Texas-Arlington at Texas 8:00 PM ET

Texas has never lost to UT Arlington but the visiting Mavericks will pose a serious threat to end that streak Tuesday. The Mavericks already have road wins against Ohio State and Memphis on the way to their best start since 2010.

Purdue at Pittsburgh 9:00 PM ET
Undefeated teams that rely on the same recipe for success get together Tuesday when Pittsburgh hosts No. 11 Purdue in the 17th annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Boilermakers and Panthers hold teams under 62 points per game and 36-percent shooting while shooting a high percentage themselves and protecting the basketball.
Miami-Florida at Nebraska 9:00 PM ET
Riding high after a Puerto Rico Tip Off tournament victory vaulted it into the Top 25, Miami (Fla.) was brought down to earth by a last-second loss to Northeastern upon its return home. Now it's back on the road on Tuesday night - in a much colder locale and more hostile environment - against Nebraska, a historic football rival which would love to knock the Hurricanes all the way out of the top 25.
Louisiana Tech at Memphis 9:00 PM ET
Louisiana Tech looks to stay among the nation's unbeaten teams when it travels to take on a tough Memphis team on Tuesday night in a Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational contest. The Tigers are just over .500 but they're coming off a big win over Ohio State over the weekend.
Arkansas St. at Missouri 9:00 PM ET

Missouri looks to stop a three-game slide when it returns home to host Arkansas State on Tuesday. The Tigers have dropped three straight since opening the season with consecutive home wins and look to remain unbeaten at Mizzou Arena.

Maryland at North Carolina 9:30 PM ET

Longtime conference rivals Maryland and North Carolina square off Tuesday when the ninth-ranked Tar Heels host the No. 2 Terrapins in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tar Heels hope to continue the dominance they exerted toward the end of Maryland’s tenure in the ACC, as North Carolina has won eight straight meetings dating to 2010 and 14 of the last 18.

Seattle at California 10:00 PM ET
Like so many visitors to Las Vegas, California stumbled home from last week’s trip a little worse for wear. The Golden Bears return home to face Seattle on Tuesday after falling out of the Top 25 with losses to San Diego State and Richmond in the Las Vegas Invitational.
