There is quite a bit in common for Boston College and Pittsburgh as they prepare to meet Tuesday afternoon in the opening game of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament at Brooklyn, N.Y.

No. 10 seed Clemson and No. 15 seed North Carolina State will both put their seasons on the line Tuesday afternoon in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament in New York.
