A pair of Garden State rivals clinging to slim hopes of finishing the season at .500 or better will square off when Seton Hall hosts Rutgers in a Big East contest Friday night. Both teams are limping toward the finish of a disappointing season. Both squads need a win Friday and at least two victories in the Big East tournament to finish at .500. Rutgers has lost five straight and 11 of its last 12, but the lone win during that stretch was a 57-55 home victory over Seton Hall on Feb. 12.
