Preview Roundups
March 04, 2013
Cincinnati at Louisville 7:00 PM ET
Louisville may be one game out of first place, but has to like where it stands entering the final week of the regular season. The No. 6 Cardinals will play the first of two straight home games to close out their schedule on Monday against Cincinnati. Louisville, winners of five in a row and eight of its last nine, hasn’t lost since its five-overtime setback against Notre Dame on Feb. 9, defeating four of its opponents over that span by at least 14 points.
Texas Tech at Kansas 7:00 PM ET
Kansas goes after its seventh straight victory and continues its pursuit of the Big 12 regular-season title when it hosts Texas Tech on Monday. The No. 3 Jayhawks are tied with Kansas State atop the standings but defeated the Wildcats twice so winning each of their last two games would assure Kansas of the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Texas Tech snapped a nine-game losing skid by beating Texas Christian on Saturday. Kansas beat Texas Tech 60-46 on Jan. 12.
Baylor at Texas 9:00 PM ET
Baylor doesn't have much time to regroup between its heartbreaking loss to Kansas State on Saturday and Monday's must-win at Texas. The Bears have a chance to finish the season with a quality win against Kansas but can't afford another conference road loss. Texas has lost seven of nine to the Bears, who own a school-record 17-game win streak straight against in-state opponents.
