Preview Roundups

Miami-Florida at Boston College 3:00 PM ET
With losses in four of its last five, Miami (Fla.) could use a bit of a boost to get back to .500 in ACC play. The Hurricanes will attempt to do just that on the road Monday when they eye a sweep of Boston College in a game pushed back a day due to poor weather conditions. Miami stood at 4-2 in the league after winning at Syracuse on Jan. 24 but has mostly floundered since, picking up three of its four losses over that span to teams that sit below the Hurricanes in the conference standings.
Clemson at Georgia Tech 7:00 PM ET
Clemson’s hopes to snap a three-year NCAA Tournament drought will be challenged by a difficult schedule down the stretch, which makes Monday’s trip to Georgia Tech a game the Tigers must win. “We’ve been on the outside looking in for a while,” coach Brad Brownell told reporters after the Tigers dominated Virginia Tech in Saturday’s 75-54 victory. With games left at No. 5 Duke and No. 11 Notre Dame, the Tigers need to avoid stumbling against a Yellow Jackets squad that has lost 12 of 15.
Seton Hall at Villanova 7:00 PM ET
When Seton Hall constructs its game plan for Monday's contest at Villanova, the focus of its defensive strategy will undoubtedly be Darrun Hilliard II. The Wildcats' senior guard is coming off a career-high 31-point performance Saturday against Butler, including the winning 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left. "That's his mental toughness," Villanova coach Jay Wright told reporters. "That's a senior not afraid to make the play that loses the game, not afraid to take the shot to win the game."
Pittsburgh at Virginia 7:00 PM ET
Pittsburgh looks to earn its third victory against a ranked team in 17 days when it visits No. 3 Virginia on Monday in an ACC contest. The Panthers knocked off 11th-ranked Notre Dame on Jan. 31 and shot 64.9 percent from the field to defeat No. 15 North Carolina 89-76 on Saturday for their fourth win in the last five games. Virginia improved to 7-1 when trailing at the half after rallying to beat Wake Forest 61-60 on Saturday for its fourth straight victory since a loss against Duke.
Kansas at West Virginia 9:00 PM ET
Six games stand in between No. 9 Kansas and its 11th straight Big 12 title, although No. 20 West Virginia can do its part to help stop that run. The Mountaineers hope to avoid their fourth defeat in their last five games on Monday when they host the Jayhawks in the first of two meetings over the next 16 days. West Virginia coach Bob Huggins was critical of everything from his team’s performance to the officiating as the Mountaineers fell apart late in Saturday’s 79-59 loss at Iowa State.
Butler at Creighton 9:15 PM ET
Butler can't dwell on Saturday's loss to Big East-leading Villanova for long because the 18th-ranked Bulldogs head to Creighton on Monday. The Bulldogs remain in second place - two games back of No. 6 Villanova - after the Wildcats escaped Hinkle Fieldhouse with a 68-65 win on a last-second 3-pointer. "It's obviously a tough one for us," Butler coach Chris Holtmann said. "A tough one to swallow."
